How to keep blocked numbers from leaving voicemails

Hey all,
does anyone know of a way to keep blocked numbers from leaving you voicemails? I blocked a number however, they are still able to leave me voicemails.

I want to be able to block the number and have it not even ring or make it so it's not even my number anymore.

any advice? I called AT&T and they have nothing for me.

Ring the provider. They have to do it from their end.

I already said I did, they said there was nothing they could do

I am sure they can. I don't have an answer phone on my 920. EE turned it off at my request.

I believe (he/she) are talking about turning off your phone voicemail completely
