How to make sure if my cell is up to date

This my sound little stupid to those pro around here.

i have lumia black update but not sure if my device has gdr3 update ( or i dont know how to check it)

i brought my lumia 2 weeks back and gdr3 was released way before that. So i dont know if my device has it.

little help to find it out will be useful for a newbie like me

Go to settings, click on extras & info see what it says.

If you have Lumia Black, then your phone already has Update 3. If you want assurance, check your OS version under 'about'. It should be 8.0.105xx.xxx

Yes, you have Update 3 and Lumia Black.
