Hi everybody, another WM10 user here. I have a question regarding notification sounds. I am not able to set custom SMS ringtones for the contacts in the People app, I have very limited selection of sounds available to assign, all are just built-in ringtone melodies, no notification sounds, no custom files. Why is that? In the settings app I see all my sounds including own from \Ringtones.
My original idea was to have only selected few users having SMS notification sound and all the others remain silent. There is no such granularity, so I had this idea of having default sound but it being silent 1 second mp3, and audible users having custom SMS ringtone. Are those steps alright, what do you think? Anyway, while I can have default sound silent mp3 file (instead of that "X none" setting), I can't assign sounds properly as described above. Is it a bug or a feature?
Running latest slow-ring build on 950XL.
