How to stop updates

[Windows Central Question]

How can I stop the updates on Windows phone?

every time it sets me a few days back to try to make it as it were before>

The last time the maps voice changes, I now cannot understand her or change it back. it makes the maps useless.

please help me

Hi and welcome to windows central forums.

Are you an insider? you can quit insiders from settings>update>windows insiders>stop receiving builds.

For official updates you cant stop those, as those are critical updates meant to be installed with no way to block them.
