I have a Toshiba smart tv that is Intel Widi enabled. When I browse youtube on chrome, I am able to stream content wirelessly to it, from my Surface Book.*

But I want to do this with all files. And Windows 10 is supposed to support wireless displays, but cannot find my TV. Also Intel widi seems to be disconnued, but I think my tv supports cast as well. (IS that not what youtube uses?)

So what can I do to stream. Is there any drivers Im supposed to download?*

As far as I know the surface book does not support WIDI.

Surface Book supports miracast. You will need to get a Microsoft wireless adapater to project your surface book to your tv.

Then why am I able to stream with cast from youtube from this very surface book?
It just needs to connect with my Toshiba tv somehow. I am uncertain exactly what technology it is using. But either cast/miracast, widi or DLNA.
