How to sync your windows phone to your mac?

After the recently yosemite update on my macbook the windows phone app not longer works for syncing my photos and music. Any ideas if it is being updated or if there are any alternatives?

Make sure your iSuite apps are updated. iPhoto and iTunes to be specific. The app will not work without it. You can also manually drop from iTunes directly into the sidebar of the Mac app.

I've updated them both only recently

It is actually pictures I want to sync with iPhoto xx
