How to update the 928 when using AT&T

Hello,
Im new to Windows phone and was wondering how you go about getting updates to your device when you do not use it on the original carrier? I was looking at the Nokia site and it said the latest update for my phone is 3051.40000.1352.0058 and this is what is on my phone 3051.40000.1337.10223. Are there steps I need to take to do a manual update? Any help would be great!

you can download the nokia software updater retail program. It will download the latest firmware version for your nokia phone and install it. This will erase all user information. Everything will be erased.

It updated for me despite having a T-Mobile sim on my phone.

Nokia update to Black worked and glad because didn't feel like connecting the phone to my PC.

Windows phone updates are not connected to current SIM. They are connected to phone ROM.

In other words, if VZW releases an update, all 928s will get it, as long as they have VZW ROM (in this case, all of them do).
