How to use Microsoft Account balance to purchase WP8 apps?

Since the conversion from points to cash I have a balance in my Microsoft account. I would like to use them to purchase WP8 apps but cannot seem to figure out how. I can do it from my Xbox, Xbox One, and Windows 8.1 but cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it for my phone.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Go into the wallet app and click on the + sign.
Select Microsoft gift card and enter the code you got.

After you hit the buy button in the Store, you should see the' Confirm Purchase' screen. On this there is an option to 'add or switch payment methods'. Select this and you should see an option to use your Microsoft account.

That was what I needed rhodri, thanks! I was mislead at first because the option is Microsoft Gift Card. It asks you for a gift card number, but then if you hit the back arrow it shows up as Microsoft Account.
