Like a few predecessors here, I joined via the giveaway...full disclosure. :).

I'm a longtime iPad user having used it since gen 1 for cartoon work. Over the years since that model I've become frustrated with the experience up to the Air 2 of using iPad for art and have been impressed with Microsoft's pursuit of the artist market. I'm not familiar with iPad Pro but am more interested in the full OS experience of a Surface machine. Currently I'm using an HP Spectre with a stylus and sometimes a Wacom Intuos to do artwork for Dark Yeti Games. The next machine, I think, will have to be a Surface device.

Browsing over the posts I'm very impressed by the community here and am looking forward to learning and hobnobbing. :)

One of the best aspects of Windows is that if the Surface doesn't tick all your boxes, there's probably another machine that will. When the iPad doesn't have everything you need, you can only throw your hands up in the air and go, "Well, maybe next year."
