How's your Lumia Camera, now with full Denim?

I have no idea why everyone is bragging about the fast start up of the Lumia Camera app. I have a 928 (perhaps it is just my version) but I find the Lumia Camera is dreadfully slow to start. Yes, I have the Denim update. I have switched back to the Microsoft Camera. It starts much faster.

I've noticed the same thing on my 928. It takes a long time to load even after a complete power down and restart of the phone.

that's because you got lumia camera 4.9 not 5.0, and your "denim" firmware as far as I know its just a rebranded cyan, thanks Verizon for that, all we can do is wait for w10 which will make lumia camera 5 the stock camera app, and end this nokia firmware crap once and for all

in the mean time, I'm doing well with the stock app, its a lot faster and i love swyping left to see the camera roll

That's because only the new Snapdragon SoCs(400 and higher, I think. maybe 200 too, but not sure) work with the new Denim tweaks.

Bad move of Microsoft to "abandon" the last generation's flagships that had an emphasis on the camera.
