Hi there -

Just hooked my X3 up to Verizon this morning. I had been using it for a week with my old AT&T sim card. Has anyone else had the issue where voicemails do not show up? No notice on the tile and not even in the phone, history tab. Just me or widespread?

So that's the question I have and can't really find an answer... Is the AT&T (GSM) variant & the Verizon variant one in the same, or 2 separate models?
I find it hard to believe HP would manufacture the X3 for Verizon after knowing it was a dead platform, unless this was always the plan and it took awhile to approve.
There's some good deals on the "GSM" varient of this phone...If I could snag this phone for $350-400 bundle I'd consider it.

Some advice; go to swappa.com and have a look. There are two of the complete x3 and desk docks selling for less than $400. It's a great place to buy second owner phones.

They differ in the radios available on them and yes they are two separate variants. They have two different firmware revision numbers. I own both models atm so ask any other questions.

I just bought mine to replace my Lumia Icon...I was very close to buying an Android phone, but switched gears when I heard about the Verizon Elite x3...Reminds me when I bought an HP Pre3 when they stopped making webOS...I guess I will stick with Windows Mobile til its last dying breath or until Microsoft comes up with something...

Awesome - it's a fantastic phone!!!! Still using mine as my main driver, and just received my new 950 yesterday. Had to get it as it's an awesome phone, and camera amazing. Make sure you get the HP dock as it's so useful, and just cool.

I got my HP Elite X3 and I love it. I had an LG V20 and it was OK, but there towards the end I jus wanted to throw it against the wall. I always wanted to throw my wifes Icrap against the wall when I had to work it for her or use it.
This X3 is so Beautiful!!!! I can not believe it is not the Number one phone op system!!! Especially since icrap users think they are so good and smart.
I wrote all this with my X3 without incident. The Android V20 would have made all kinds of corrections and they would have all been wrong. The corrections this phone made were all right. It is so fast, the apps that I used but now have to use internet, it's OK now, it's better. The screen is the biggest I've had and that makes it even better when using Excel, and anything else. Fast, Fast, Fast!!! The battery life is twice as long as the V20. I would come outta work and it would have less than 20% everyday on the LG V20. I use the Elite X3 more now cuz i know the battery is bigger and I still walk out with 50%, honest truth.
Also, connecting to WiFi and Bluetooth is the best experience I've ever had. This thing jus connects first time. When i get back in my car, it finds my phone and starts the music where it left off. WiFi jus connects, fast. Finds the website, takes you there and hooks up. LOVE, Love love it.
So to this point, I have not had any dislikes with the HP Elite X3 on Verizon. This phone and system and carrier should keep this combo updated and running forever. What the hell took them So F ing Long!!!!!
Thanks

I agree. With Carrier aggregation I get crazy speeds downloading on this phone. It is only cat6 and it is fast in my opinion. I was even driving down the highway to work downloading the 1.8 GB FCU and it finished the whole download in like 15 min or so on LTE all while driving.

ARGH! Why am I just now seeing this? I just switched from my Verizon Lumia 735 last month to an AT&T HP Elite X3. I would have liked to have avoided the headache from switching carriers. But if you visit the Verizon Wireless store today, there is still no love from them for Windows Mobile...so I guess I made the right choice. Either way, I really like the HP Elite X3, so glad I upgraded...but still would have liked to have stayed on Verizon.
