HP Stream 8 Battery Drain

I bought my wife a HP Stream 8 with the 4g connection for Christmas, we upgraded it to W10 and the battery life when it sleeps now is horrible. It won't last half a day without draining ask the way down. I have read a couple of internet posts that said to mute the volume if its going to sleep. We tried that today and the battery is still draining at a good clip ( 15% after 4 hours of sleeping). Any help on how to correct this would be appreciated.
