HTC 8x or lumia928

I have the htc8x which I love, but am thinking about getting the Lumia 928 BC it has more storage. By quite a bit. Is there any advantages one has over the other? Or are they pretty close to being the same?

Definitely go L920 more memory and lower price. If not an option go L928 you cannot beat Nokia build quality, they also have great apps + outstanding camera!

I had an 8x now I'm on a 928. If you can get the Lumia. They are so much better and they have Nokia exclusive apps and is supported by Nokia way more than HTC supports their WP devices. Not to mention Lumia black coming up!

I had the 8X, now I have the L928. Both are great, the 8X is thinner, lighter & sexier, but the 928 is my fav. It has the Nokia exclusives and just feels better IMO. Better support too. Neither is a poor choice, but I'd say go with 928 if you can.

I have said ten times, if you want windows phone. Buy Lumia. HTC should not make any WP phones as they dont care about it.
My first wp phone was HTC HD7 , later I got Lumia 800 and it was far far ahead of HTC. Later i bought HTC 8X because 920 was to big and to heavy. It was my mistake. With all apps Nokia brought to WP, no other vendors came closed. As the matter of fact, Samsung gave more to WP that HTC.

Do not make same mistake as me, buy Lumia.

Had a 920 and it was an awful device, had to send it in for a replacement 3 times! My first daily driver (as I'm a tmobile customer) is the HTC 8X and its lightyear ahead of updates vs my friend Lumia 920. Sleek, sturdy design decent camera (but if thats what you want goto Lumia), great audio, perfect feel and size.

Don't make the same Mistake I did with my first WP8. BUY A HTC 8X!!

Well, the Lumia 928 is a larger device with a 0.2" larger display

the camera is nice, with a nice flash to boot

Design is a bit more angular than the 8X or its ATT counterpart the 920

I'd spring for the 928 just because of the Nokia firmware with additional features like Glance, etc. The AMOLED display over the 8X's LCD won't hurt either. Nokia is probably going to treat the 928 better because WP is all it has. HTC has an Android lineup to deal with and some other problems.
