HTC 8x, possible virus?

Hey guys, I have an HTC 8x on AT&T. I've had no problems until very recently, recently as in a few minutes ago. Suddenly my phone claimed to be low on storage space. I checked the storage and there is a section labeled "Other" that had about 2.2 gigs of memory. I had around 40 mb of space remaining, so I deleted some apps and freed up about 1.5 gigs of space. Set my phone down for a few minutes, and I got the message that my phone was low on storage once more. I have 611mb of Music, 48mb of pictures, 1.27 gigs of apps, 1.78 gigs of system, and out of seemingly NOWHERE, I have 3.5 gigs in the section labeled "Other"

I only have 5.77 mb of space left now, and I have no idea how to diagnose or fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Hmm. I recommend to see if you can uninstall apps, one-by-one, and see if you clear some Other from them. (wpTorrent is a big offender.)
Clear your IE History as well, and turn off auto-upload to SkyDrive.
The reboot/soft reset.

If that really doesn't do anything, and you can't clear enough storage for GDR3, backup then hard reset.

Update to GDR3... it also isnt a virus. its a known issue.
