HTC 8x recovery, how can I do a recovery?

Hello!
Just wantet do recover my HTC 8x from Windows 10 Insider preview.
Installed the recovery tool on my computer and connected my phone. When holding the volume up and volume down button there is not coming the screen barcodes. So it is not possible to repair my phone.
Maybe somebody can help me.

Did you try the regular auto detect with the phone booted and connected to USB before opening the tool?

Was the tool fully updated to v3.1.4 before you connected your device?

Have you tried repeating the process at least 3 times from scratch?

Hi All HTC 8X Users,

After crashing my HTC 8X with Windows Mobile 10 preview version and keeping the mobile in sleep mode for nearly 2 months, I was able to recover my HTC 8X successfully and that too not by using WDRT.

Steps to follow:

1. Open Chrome browser

2. Open URL - winphoneviet.com/forum/threads/huong-dan-khac-phuc-htc-8x-cap-nhat-windows-10-bi-loi.169585/

3. Convert the site to English if needed

4. All the details mentioned in that site are crisp and clear.

5. Happy ROMing
