Htc 8x Verizon warranty void after 8.1 developer preview?

Just sent my HTC 8x back to Verizon for a warranty and I'm not sure if they will accept it because I installed the 8.1 developer preview. Anybody know?

people have reported success touch wood you should be able to get warranty

I had sent my old 928 on dev preview in for warranty to Verizon with no issues. Should be fine.

Wow that's great to hear! Hopefully Verizon treats my HTC the same as the Lumia.

It's been a month and so far no bill so I guess Verizon will accept the warranty of a 8.1 dp device!
