HTC 8X Windows Phone 8.1 Restarting constantly , help me please?

Hello Guys,

I do follow WPCentral regularly but I was not risking to have the beta version of 8.1 until today where I got a little bit tempted to have it on my HTC 8X.

Thats it, I got 3 Updates which I have downloaded and installed in my 8X and my phone is restarting continuously since 4hrs(still counting).

Was thre anything I should have done before or is it the same for 8X users. I am from Australia with Vodafone carrier.

Honestly, I am pretty new to this so can any one help me ASAP?

Try hard reset.

Will try, but it will go back to the older version of the OS I believe which I don't want as I have struggle this far so just want to make this 8.1 working.

After hard reset your phone will still running 8.1.

I am facing the same issue.. HTC 8x on AT&T.. constant reboots and now the battery is drained. Tried to do the hard reset, but can't get to the hard reset mode either.... Pressed the vol down and power keys together, but never gets me to the black screen with exclamation mark..

Is there a way to flash rom to HTC 8X? Thanks for any help mates...

Damn i miss the htc 8x so bad even i own a L1520

I had that issue. It is a hardware problem with the internals of the power button. I returned mine to get a new 8X.
