HTC 8XT - Not syncing contacts from my Live account

I am new to the Windows 8 phone.

I have my Live account which has all of my contacts and I can see them when I log into
my account under People.

When I logged into my phone for the first time I used the same live e-mail account but
it seems to just have my Facebook contacts?

Or at least there are contacts missing. Namely my Wife is missing and I went to sent
her a text message and I went under People on my phone and realized her entry was
not there.

There does not seem to be a SYNC option like there is under Android for the Gmail accounts.

I don't know how to manually sync ALL my contacts in my live account to my phone.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to people hub on your htc and click on the three dots (lower right side ), tap settings
Click on filter my contact list and see what account is left un ticked. , go back and un tick hide posts from the contacts I've filtered.
