My htc one m8 is frozen up and I can't get it to reset. The device recovery tool recognizes it, but tells me I need to reset my phone (but I can't). If I plug it in the screen turns on, but buttons are unresponsive and will eventually turn off.
On the most recent Windows 10 that was available for the device. Not really sure what to do besides let the battery die (and it's nearly full) and hope it restarts, but it's completely unusable at the moment.
