Hungry Shark Evolution - cross platform syncing?

I figured since it was an universal app and XBL, progress would sync between Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is it true or is it a problem on my end?

Game uses Xbox live login. So, it should sync across devices if you use the same login.

No, unfortunately is doesn't. Like most other XBL games for WP. -_-
