Looking at buying my first Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Intel 128GB SSD Core m3-7Y30 processor
Is this still a reliable machine or should I upgrade to the new Microsoft pro I’ve heard the speed between that and the I5 is a big difference.
Could really use your help as I said I’m very needy and appreciate all the help you can give me or if you recommend a Nother computer I thought Samsung makes some pretty good ones?
Thanks

128GB is not that much, so I would consider the i5/8gb/256gb model. The new Surface Pro makes sense if you need a better pen or a better battery. That said, if you're considering the m3 version because you don't need all that power, I'd recommend the Eve V, which will be out in December.

I bought the BF Surface Pro bundle (m3 w/keyboard for $620, plus Wacom Bamboo Ink pen) and I really like it, although I'm worried about any Surface product right now because MS is not one of the vendors who is addressing this: https://security-center.intel.com/advisory.aspx?intelid=INTEL-SA-00086&languageid=en-fr so, I'm wondering if the ME is so integrated into too many systems to fix. Seriously, I'm thinking of returning this device for that reason alone, in spite of the fact that this is a really good deal and I really do like this product.
