I am not able to update apps in store after I did the cumulative update on my Lappie. What should I do?

I am not able to update apps in store after i did the cumulative update on my Lappie.

I updated my Windows 8.1 HP Laptop on 31st August but due to time constraints couldnt actually update the store apps. yesterday i first did the cumulative update for windows 10 and then went to update store apps but thats it.
Its stuck since then and i dont know what to do.
disabled antivirus and firewall but no help.
did the sfc /scannow
wsreset for no use.
in the end i am left with no updates and the apps dont run on loacl account without microsoft login to try anything there.
