I Don't Receive Voicemail Notification

Ever since I became an Insider and installed Windows 10 mobile, the only way I find that I have voicemail is if I go to the Notification Center (by swiping down from the top). There is no notice on my phone tile nor is there any notification when I open the phone app. When I open the phone app, there is a voicemail icon at the bottom of the screen, but no notification that I have a voicemail. Is there something I'm missing? This seems to be a pretty basic feature that is missing.
