Yes u can by using disk cleaner

Yup, Use disk cleaner, however after it initially loads you'll need to click the "clean up system files" button in order to see the "previous windows installation" check-box. However you will not be able to go back to windows 8.1 or 7 through the restore section in settings successfully.
