I got a firmware update when I rolled back my 1520.3 from .63 to 8.1!!!

Didn't expect that! What do you guys make of that, if anything? Anyone else?

I used the WDRT (the Recovery Tool or whatever it's called) on my PC. Firmware went from 02540.00019.15053.26000 to 02540.00019.15236.45004

I read the 950's had this issue (of possibly needing to roll back to pick up firmware updates) but not the 1520.3. Hopefully the firmware upgrade will make for smoother operation.

Now I'll wait for the "production" release of WM10 before upgrading from 8.1.

Hi, I have the same with my lumia 930. I connected it to the recovery tool and it shows a new firmware. Should i rollback and reinstall win 10 to have a better experience with the new firmware ? My lumia 930 has some small problems under win 10, maybe they would be fixed with the new firmware.
Its a belgium lumia 930. Old firmware is 02540.00019.14484.37004 and new one is 02540.00019.15234.50005. Anybody an idea what it would change. i'm hesitating to rollback and install everything over again. Thx

For me? I'm waiting for the imminent "production release" W10M. I'm playing safe.

My L640 firmware was also updated through that process few months ago.

Now I'm checking if it's available using WDRT...

Same thing here on Lumia 930 Italy. I rolled back to 8.1 and the program updated the firmware to 02540.00019.15236.45005
