I got Lumia Black Update for my lumia 620 in Maharashtra India. Quite pleasurable experience. Tell your reviews and opinions

M from Mumbai. I got it around 3days before. I already had Dev Preview on my L620 so not much difference. Only DTTW feature is extra, which I don't use anywayz. I love WP and my L620. Waiting for WP8.1 though.

I am from Indonesia, got my Black Update two days ago. I really love it ! It's faster and last longer. With Amber it could last around 6-7 hours with data on, with Black it last 10-12 hours ! both with moderate use (twitter, few news app, Line, few calls, and few round of MS Solitaire).
Can't wait for the 8.1 update

I got it a few days ago too and one of the little feature that is now available on my L620 that I most appreciate is the double tap to wake! Because previously I had to wake my phone by pressing the camera button since my lock button is still broken, and I didn't have the time to send it for repair, but now I can just wake up my phone by double tapping though it reduces the battery life, it's worth it rather than having to fix my camera button due to frequent pressing.

I really like the double tap to wake too. It's should be a mandatory feature for all next upcoming phone. But I hope its next version perform without compromising the battery.

There is very little hope that the double tap to wake feature will ever be battery efficient on this phone. In order to respond to taps the digitiser needs to be powered up. AFAIK there is no special low power mode on the digitiser in the 620, so it's always going to suck battery when in use.
