All odf this machines works well with win 10, only trouble with my s3

Damn, even the China pad is working better? I have experienced all those issues too except for the display driver crashing. AT&T had a hard time getting LTE to work a couple times.

Well, 24 hrs in and my surface 3 is running 10 flawlessly. Tablet mode is cool, and works as advertised. I am sitting on 57% battery life which equates to 5h and 2min. Perfect. We are impressed, no beyond impressed with these tablets compared to the crap asus units we were using before.

It's Windows 10. I had similar experience when I first got my Surface 3 LTE which came with Windows 10 pre-installed. I did a clean installation with Windows 8.1 and my Surface 3 LTE worked fine afterwards.

Yes...my Surface 3 is two weeks old. I had one minor quirk with the screen brightness....but that was solved easily.

I bought a used dock from ebay for $40....and that thing is perfect. I have all kinds of things hooked to it, and the computer notices them and they work as they should. I can snatch the computer from the dock or put it on willy-nilly and it sorts it all out without hesitation.

Now, perhaps this is a windows 10 issue, but using the bluetooth sure is finicky and fiddly...good grief. For instance, it wants one of my bluetooth speakers to be the default "go to" speaker no matter what. I have to disable the darn speaker just to keep it from becoming the default sound.

I've read many different user experiences with MS Surface line products. I've owned some myself. Presently my wife has an SP3 and I have an S3. The S3 came with W10, and it has operated pretty well. It did have some difficulty with display drivers early on, and it didn't want to come out of sleep/hibernate too well sometimes, but all of that has cleared up with the updates to W10. At this point, my S3 operates really well. I don't have a dock for it so I can't say how it would handle that. It's my mobile device and my desktop Dell backup. Like I said, my S3 has been solid, particularly since the updates this year.

A clean factory restart on mine, then install only the firmware update, and finally the Windows updates have almost removed all issues I had with my Surface 3 LTE with Win 8.1 Pro. If you are having issues do a clean factory reset.
