I have a disc on key when I insert or remove it from computer I get asked to trouble-shoot, how can I fix this?

i have a disc on key .when i insert or remove it from computer i get asked to trouble-

shoot and then get error code 80070057 as a problem 'fixing'the disc.does this mean ive copied a message containing anerror or what.keep answers simple please.i am a computer nitwit. thanks
