I installed different ROM for my Lumia 820. Am I able to get future updates?

I live in Finland and I have Lumia 820 which had ROM RM-825_eu_fi_cv. I installed Italian ROM to get cyan RM-825_eu_it_232. Am I able to get future updates normally? Or do I need to have Finnish ROM? I can install it back when Cyan is released here if necessary.

if you're finish rom was a carrier dependent then you will have to wait for the carrier for updates but if you flash a rom from different region and then install developer preview then you get updates from Microsoft directly no waiting for the carrier doesn't matter if you have cyan or not or which ever region of rom you flashed.

Hope this makes sense. I flashed a Country Variant(no carrier branding rom) rom because orange are slow for releasing updates then install developer preview.

Update behavior will change in that you will get it when its released in Italy, unlike before.

My AT&T 920 has been flashed to the French CV ROM and it receives updates when it comes out in france, not on AT&T's terms, thankfully.
