I installed Windows 10 2 days ago. At first the start menu worked like always. Now it doesn't, how can I get it working again?

I installed windows 10 2 days ago. At first the start menu worked like always.

Now it doesn't appear - nothing happens when I click on the start button. also, the app store doesn't come up, although it did at first as well. I've restarted multiple times, nothing changes.

What can I do, considering I'm NOT a computer guru? I need my email working for my job tomorrow morning. Help!
i want the menu to work obviously, but how can I start outlook without a start menu, just in case?

I don't know how to get the start menu back. But can you type in the search field on the task bar. You could type "outlook" there and select the app.

Did you enable tablet mode by mistake? Open the action center on the bottom right of the screen and unselect tablet mode.
