I have a question. When I make a playlist available for offline, what's happening there? Is it saving the music locally? How much is it saving?

I use to do this with Spotify and it would DL the music.

And yes, this app is awesome, and it killed the need for Pandora or Last fm...

Never mind, Nokia explains inside the app what takes place when you save music for offinle. Good job Nokia!

Word of caution, but the pre-set mixes may be a set number of songs. I've apparently listened to "Classic Jazz" so much I've repeated songs (in the same order, mind). There were only about thirty total.

Not sure about more current mixes or custom ones.

I found it got old real fast because of the repeating number of tracks - I am happy to pay for zune.

A Glimpse into Nokia Music

Maybe someone can give me an idea. I'm a huge Zune user (Zune Pass and all) (currently using my Verizon HTC Trophy). When I upgrade to WP8 on Verizon, I'm seriously considering going with Nokia. Can anyone give me a glimpse of exactly how Nokia Music works? How does the streaming service work? Is it free? Is there a local client, and can I just transfer my music from Zune into the Nokia music services? Any information would be great as I know next to nothing about Nokia music but I've heard from many that it seems to be a great experience.

Have a Nokia 710 and also LOOOVE the Nokia Music app so far ///

I downloaded multiple times, clean download & install BUT - app tries to run and then says "cannot run on this type of MAC" ? Huh???

Macbook with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 ... ???

Its very similar to Pandora. You can pick a your favorite type of music, then get more sub categories.

Ex. I listen to a lot of hip hop, so when I selected it, it gave me a sub category or East Cost hip hop, west coast hip hop, southern hip hop, popular hip hop.

Its a Pandora replacement, not a Zune pass replacement. You can only skip through there songs or so.
