I Think GDSR2 is Hitting Today..

I just had my phone take a huge update download.

Took forever to download and prepare; now the spinning gears are ripping along - about 10 minutes now and counting. Going to lunch and will see what happens when I get back..

Yep, GDR2/Amber is rolling out today for T-Mobile customers

It's also started its global roll out for the 920 too

If you have a 521, then yes it is. Just downloaded and installed here. Going to lunch is a good idea,.. It takes a while!

Getting it now, download was quick, install is slower, but that makes sense.

Yep. Getting it here too. Taking a while. Been about 15 minutes so far. Downloaded and now preparing to install at about 60%.
I am on Tmobile, if that even matters.

Took almost an hour between my hitting "go" and the final bootup into the new Amber environment..

I can't update because my "Other storage" is taking up too many GBs. So the update won't fit on available storage.

That's too bad. You might though consider backing up your data then do a hard reset (remember to remove your expansion card, if you have one, for safety). It's a pain, but the update does seem to fix the Other Storage issue so if you do this, you might be happier for it in the long run.
