I think I missed my chance

I think I missed my chance. I missed my chance to do life with one of the single greatest devices ever created. The Lumia 1520.3 literally has everything I could have wanted in a device. The 1520 still leaves me mesmerized. The size, the display, the battery life, the design, all of it... I should have jumped ship from Verizon to AT&T/T-Mobile the moment the 1520 was released.

I waited in hopes that a phablet like the 1520 would come to Verizon. I waited in hopes that a Surface Phone would be right around the corner. I didn't want to pay the extra buck to drop Verizon and head to AT&T. Don't get me wrong, I love my Lumia Icon. I've had it since launch day, and i'm happy to use it until the day that it croaks. But I realize that I would have been that much happier if it was the 1520 in my hands rather than the Icon. And now the 1520 is over two years old.

A word of warning: Don't make the same mistake that I made. If you're ready for a new phone, and the 950XL fits the bill, go for it. Don't wait around.

And if you're a current 1520 user: Be grateful for the great device that you've got with you. It really is one of the best ever created.

Here I am standing firm with 1520.3 and I kinda worry I'm going to be missing a chance by not getting a 950 or 950 XL. I'm still torn between will I and won't I. I do remember the feeling of satisfaction and correctness when I got that 1520 in my hands and all set up. What lovely adventures we've shared together...
