After a Bold 9000 > iPhone 2G > Bold 9000 > Bold 9700 > Curve 8900 > iPhone 3G > Bold 9000 > Samsung Focus > Bold 9000 > Samsung Focus > Bold 9000 > HTC Inspire 4G > Nexus S > Bold 9000, I'm ready to come back home to a Windows Phone. I just can't stop thinking about those 2 Samsung Focuses that I've had. But this time i'm gonna be on Simple Mobile, so my question is what should I get, the HTC HD7 or the Dell Venue Pro? After having a Focus, I'm stuck. by the way the bold 9000 is my first smart phone and I still have it, lol

I would go for the HTC HD7 over the Venue Pro, but that is my preference. I'd suggest getting your hands on each of them, and comparing them side by side.

I have used both phones. My friend has a Venue Pro. The Venue Pro seems to have a bit brighter screen. Also it is a lass screen which gives it a nice feel. I do like the portrait slider keyboard. I have an HD7 and I like it a lot. The screen is just a tiny bit larger and the phone is just a bit lighter. You can't go wrong with either phone. The major difference is the keyboard.

stick with the htc hd7, htc knows how to make phones... let dell stick to sub par pc's and laptops. the dell venue has had numerous firmware issues, they are fixed now but who knows once mango is released. lpus i am not a fan of a physical keyboard, i prefer the touch screen and larger display...

I'm about to get a blackberry off Craigslist, I miss notifications working properly, and actually being notified when I get said notification. I doubt I'll use the BB as my main phone though.

I too own a Bold 9000 (my wife still uses it for listening to Slacker, the speakers on that thing are amazing). I chose the LG Quantum for it's solid feel, the physical keyboard, the 16gb of on board memory (can't expand it, but you don't have to worry about any SD card related bugs), and DLNA support. I love this phone, but if I were in a situation where I had an upgrade coming up, I would wait until the next batch of WP7 devices come out. I would personally look for one with a faster processor, more RAM, storage, and a forward facing camera (hopefully something that matches that criteria will come out soon).
