iCloud Calendar Issue with Declined Events

I just switched from an iPhone 5 to Nokia Lumia 1520 last week.

I've been having a problem with events from my iCloud calendar showing up in the Calendar Live Tile; but when I would go to view the event, it did not exist (show up) in the calendar app.

If I "turned off" my iCloud calendar on the phone, the event disappeared from the live tile. When I "turned on" the calendar again, it would pop back in. However, I then checked my iCloud calendar at the online website to see if the event was shown there; it was NOT. After some digging, I found a setting for the online calendar to "Show Declined Events" which I clicked and the offending event was displayed. So I deleted all of the declined events from the online calendar and waited for the sync on the phone to catch up. And now it's gone.

Just wanted to share in case others were having the same issue. The Calendar App is correct, but the live tile is displaying these declined events from iCloud. Not sure if it's the same for some of the other services (Outlook, Yahoo, etc.)...
