Icon vs 1520 vs 930 for Virgin/Bell Canada

My 930 warmed up out of the box, which was because it was auto-updating a whole bunch of apps in the background. Try turning off the auto-update, as that would certainly cause some heat if you happen to be doing something on the phone and it starts the auto-update in the background. Also heard turning off motion data helps, personally I don't use it so that's one of the first things I turned off when I got my phone.

If you can get service with the M8 and money is not a huge concern, I can't imagine not seriously considering this phone. It's literally the best phone I've ever owned (and I've owned all the top tier phones over the past three years or so). Speakers and unparalleled, screen is beautiful and battery life kills anything I've owned before (including z30, note 3) and the addition of a SD card slot and the RF remote is just icing on the cake. Camera is the ONLY slight negative to me, and even that is just fine for posting on fb and instagram. It really does take windows phone to a new level, which is tough to do with Nokia's notoriously nice hardware.
