IDEA: WPC Moderators Room

Just had an idea... you know the mods here, why don't we use our WP8 devices and set up a room where we can all chat to each other etc. I'll leave it in Dave's capable hands to set up but it would be nice to have a room we can use. Keep up to date with everything too. And makes it easier for us to message each other :smile:

I meant for WPC moderators. Campfire is a MN moderators area. That's what I was thinking.

I think the messaging in rooms doesn't have to be chat style.

No problems, can see where you're coming from actually. All platforms get access to Tapatalk too in some shape or form (for us WP users, it's via Board Express). So yeah, it sounds better to use here. Guess I'm just after a reason to use the Rooms feature haha.

Just keep coming up with the ideas man I promos one of these days I will agree with one...lol You need to remember we are a bunch of older settled down type people. That's one of the reasons I invited you to the team we need someone from the younger crowd. Maybe a chat room for the community not just the mods. Would that be something you would be interested in moderating? Just a thought.

I was pretty pumped when my parents got windows phones so I could use the rooms, but so far it's been a bust. I need more tech savvy people to get in a room with I guess.

Lol, I know the feeling! After working shift work for five years and getting horribly out of shape I feel like I'm falling apart. I'm trying to get rid of some of this weight right now so I'm starting to feel a bit better, but I've got a long way to go. I would love to feel as groggy as I did at 25 again!

True. Absolutely true. Although as I demonstrated on Friday, I have an immature side to me (Screw you alcohol!), but when I tackle my moderation duties, I make sure I approach it maturely. I'll admit, as the new guy, I'm trying to get up to speed (to which Dave has given me some tips following the incident on Friday), and I am following through on those ideas. So yeah, I think having a party side and a professional side is a good thing. And I know, I swerved it way off-topic.

Actually, thinking about it, this could be a great idea. I'm also considering setting up an area for Windows Live Messenger ID sharing, you know like we have BBPIN and iMessage ID sharing over at CB/iMore respectively?
