I actually liked the placement of the buttons. A blind hit would result in hitting the button most of the times just because it's bigger and 100% of the time from feel. But what I enjoyed most was the volume buttons. If I slide down from top area I know it's volume up and slide up from bottom it's volume down. And all while not having to adjust my grip from holding a big phone.
