IE9 and Horrible HTML5 Scores

you still missed my point. MS has a site similar to that as well, please understand how ludicrous your point is. Call me a ****** if you like as that seems to be what you do when you disagree with someone and can't properly counter their statements.

Hang on a second, I'm the one who can't counter your statements? You are yet to show anything or provide any proof of any kind. Even right there in the quote above. Show me community websites for IE that are remotely pushing envelope of web animation and development. Show me which sites Opera doesn't render that don't break your same argument analogy of: thewildernessdowntown.com to Internet Explorer, as <insert site> is to Opera.

Scores are neither absolute nor obsolete, but they a more or less a good barometer for what a browser can do in regards to the most popular features. Sure it's not perfect, but wiggling out of a score 140 is not as easy as saying the test site flawed or some things just don't apply (we know that). But somehow every other browser does much-much better. So it must be a conspiracy against IE then.

I'm not trying to "hate" on the system for no reason, but I'm not an MS shill either. And if you are going to fall back on "standards" as an excuse in this case, then IE has even worse track record than just about any other browser when it comes to it. From what I remember it's the MS that's always insisted on proprietary features and doing things their own way. I'm underlining again that I deal with IE on nearly daily basis and I can tell you that even the basic CSS is often a problem. It has been for years.

Like I said, I didn't expect much support for my point of view on this board, so that is ok. Problem is, this thread is getting derailed and it's time to give it a rest.

ok , so every one got the point they wanted out? excellent

lets all agree to disagree and hopefully get all we need in the future :)
