If I liked Google Now, will I like Tell Me?

Indigo (mentioned above by gab), in my opinion, is slicker than Maluuba. It has some integration with Tell Me directly from holding the start button, so you can say "indigo what is the weather like" and it will bring up the forecast. Last time I checked Maluuba hasn't been updated in a while and still doesn't have Tell Me integrated. I've got both installed and don't use either a whole lot, but Indigo seems to be further along at this point.

Google now and Siri are different from each other as well. Google now can replace you using your hands whereas Siri can help you launch and do certain things, but majority of those functions, your hands /fingers have to be involved.

So Tell Me is more a Siri competitor than Google Now?

I have Maluuba pinned to my homescreen, so it takes one extra button press to activate Maluuba over Indigo. I enjoy the music playback and the television integration. I also like the metro style to it. I don't believe Indigo can tell you what's on a certain channel.

Maluuba was last updated in late May; Indigo in late June...so they're not far apart. I guess try both and see which you like better. They both have their merits.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. But I'm really confused as to why Tellme hasn't really advanced much. Anyone ever use the 1-800-Tellme back in the day...don't know if it still works. But it was interactive...seemingly more interactive than it is on WP. I really hope MS improves it. I'm sure it's on the back burner as they are really pounding on location services. But the combination of the 2 would be a great sell.

I don't get it either, when MS acquired the service it was supposed to be the next big thing but they haven't done jack with it.
