I'm trying to project my nokia on to my gmc 2005 dvd player. i

do i have to have a Hd-10 ? I have a nokia. I want to stream net flix
i have the rca converter cords,hdmi cord and MHL adaptor
i can't get it to play on a regular tv either? is there a trick that I'm missing?
