Incoming tone for sms

M using build 10166 having problem with sms alert . I am not getting tone for incoming sms. Anyone having same problem or just me? What's the solution for this?

I had zero notification sounds as well. That was until someone texted me. I didn't get the tone, but went in to notifications, in settings, and at the bottom of the screen, there it was. Messaging app. I haven't tried custom tones, only included ones, and so far no issues! I then got an email, and outlook appeared at the bottom of notifications screen. Set the tone I wanted, and again, no issues. I went into outlook mail and set up tones for my yahoo and Gmail accounts, and once again, same story!

Get uc browser, download the mp3 you want then hold on the mp3 in the download list and tap set as ringtone. Or you can download zedge

Then downgrade to 8.1. This isn't even a beta. The technical preview is alpha quality.

You probably wouldn't be saying that if you tried the older builds like 10049

Custom ringtones work for me. Also if you set a ringtone for sms in contact it will play fine.
