Increase storage on 8x?

I am a new user of the 8x and love mostly everything about it, but the storage room is starting to bug me. I like to store a good bit of music on my phone but find that I have to constantly delete music to clear up room. I don't want to store a bunch of music on the skydrive because I don't have a big data plan and can't download music on the go often because of this. I've tried the Shrink Storage and Storage Cleaner apps to clean up the increasing "other" memory, but neither worked at all. Any ideas here or know of any apps that work?

Impossible to increase the storage of that phone, I am not sure if an OTG cable will work? (Connecting a pen drive to the phone using a cable)
