Inexpensive test phone?

Anyone have a suggestion as to what would be an inexpensive ATT phone to test the service in my area before I make the jump from Verizon? No one nearby has ATT to tell me how well it is. They(ATT) SAY I have coverage, but so does TMo... Which drops calls unless I'm outside.. And sprint is a no go.

Inexpensive? AT&T? Get the 635 Goes for .99 and lately the reviews have been very good (Reviews in the forums). Most would agree that it's a handy little phone (not so little lol)

It's cheaper, (really cheap) and while it isnt as speedy as the 635, it'll work great as a test driver.

However you may want to get the 635 if you want to try out LTE coverage

Don't know how the 635 slipped my mind. My brother has one (for tmo) but I'm sure I can... Persuade him into letting me use it...

Not if its locked to T-Mobile as it probably is.

and data bands probably don't line up well.
