Insider preview for 822

As the rumor has it, the next build will be available for our beloved 822.
Anyone going to give it a try?

I wouldn't make the jump so soon, first I will install on a spare lumia and give it a run. Want to avoid flashing back and forth.

i only have one lumia 822 and it's my main phone so i will not join the win 10 insider programme but anyone who have a spare lease install it and share your experience with us..........it will be much appreciated

My 822 is my daily driver even though I have a Lumia 1520.

I will install on my 822 to get a taste of Win 10

As I now have an 830 I'll give Win 10 a try on my 822. I *might* go for it on my 830 if the 822 upgrade goes well.

The servers have been hit pretty hard, but yea people have gotten through I'm pretty sure.

Been trying whole day but always the server errors. The same both on my 620 and 822.

Update: Ok.. So I decided to use my 822 and was able to get enrolled a while ago. Now let's see how this goes.

I have it installed but as soon as the phone goes to sleep, or you put it to sleep with the power button - that's it. You can't wake it back up.

So back to WP8.1 for me

Just as I was gonna type in "OK, I will wait" but then the little white bar moved! Thanks anyway. I was just about to get help from the Microsoft crew.

Yeah it took forever on my 822 as well but eventually installed. All good.

For me it was not worth the wait. The build is very buggy and almost completely unusable. It makes your phone really slow, the type is messed up in almost all of the message boxes, animations are choppy, the screen does not turn back on once in a while, some apps just don't work and a lot of other stuff. There are odd lines in the action center, not the ones under the name of the app, but like the outline of things in a app. If you have a app open that uses a text box, you will see that. Also if you try to take a screenshot, it says "Couldn't take screenshot" that's not true. It takes screenshots. There is more bugs then functions, so I would wait.

there are many bug in windows 10 preview for 822 . i can't focus in default camera . can't turn off connect data .... i think people should keep calm and we upgrate late

Not much to do with this build, most of my daily apps won't run. I think the older build was alot better than this one. But I did like the Outlook mail, Calendar and Spartan browser. The data connection was off but showed activity which drained my battery with no way to setup a dummy access point.

Went back to 8.1 few hours later.
I'll use another Lumia for testing.

Loaded the preview Friday. Battery life shorter, some apps don't work at all and others slow. No real crashes though.
