Installing apps and screen resolution, does it matter ?

Hello all- I am looking into getting a Lumia 1520 but it is not officially available in New Zealand and can easily get it online but here is my question;
While looking on the New Zealand version of the Window store all the apps I want state the supported resolution (480x800, 1280x720, etc..) yet none are for 1920x1080 which I know is the resolution of the 1520.
Will this affect me installing those apps on a phone that doesn't support the resolution ?

Yes these apps do work work , all the apps from store will work fine.
