Installing GDR 3

Installing GDR 3 now. Downloading the update took less than a minute in my 10mbps connection. So the size is small ~50MB.

Will keep posting for any changes other than the significant ones.

Hope it fixes the ME Tile

Updating the profile pic from "ME" Tile updates the profile pic in FB n Hotmail, but the "ME" Tile itself is not updated. ie. ME Tile still shows the old profile pic

It takes time depending on how much free space is left on the device. More space=Faster.

Hi Gaurav, First of all congrats for new update. Can you pls post mini review like how is it after updating - fast , slow or how is the camera quality after update.. Are there any incidents of lag or freeze. I too have L720 and I am very much tempted to carry out update !!

Experience so far:

- Other storage reduced by some 200MB (from 840MB to 650MB).
- UI seems as fluid as earlier.
- All apps seems to be working.
- Pics are good. No change there.
- Multitasking is more optimised. Resumes games faster than before when multitasking.
- Driving mode turns on automatically when connected to configured devices.
- Battery life seems to have improved. Cant say for sure. Will give more updates on that.

Haven't seen any major flaws yet. Haven't checked if the "ME" tile not updating has been resolved or not.

I use ProCam so didn't bother much about the default lens. Also considering that Nokia Cam will be unveiled in the Nokia Event, I'm not bothered about the default lens too much.

i'm using gdr3 right now, maybe it's a little too early to say, but indeed there are some improvements.
good guy microsoft to give this update a bit earlier than expected

Hey Gaurav.. I installed gdr3.. One change being overlooked by everyone.. Using memory card there is no lag while loading songs list in x box player now !!
