Intel won't make Meteor Lake desktop chips after all, at least not in the way you'd expect

Intel clarified that its upcoming Meteor Lake CPUs will not feature chips made for desktops. The mobile processors will, however, appear in All-in-Ones and compact PCs.

Something tells me these chips will just be another bust. The change to an ARM-like Big.Little architecture didn't give Intel (AMD a little more) laptops a battery life boost like Macbooks got when Apple switched to ARM.
I really don't get why Qualcomm can't come close to making something like an M2. They're starting with the same ARM-specified cores as Apple.
