Internet browser crashing on heavier websites.

I've noticed that whenever I go into a "heavier" website (with a lot of scripts and content on it), the browser app crashes. I've done a factory reset, but it didn't help. I've also checked the internal storage and I have plenty of space. All apps and software are also updated. Any idea what the problem might be? Do you think this is caused due to the phone not having enough RAM (only 512 mb)?

are you using wp 8.1 or insiders 10? My lumia 520 could load any page without crashes.

I am using 8.1. Win 10 isn't available for this phone and I am not getting the Insider version (I only like to update my phone with official software from settings).

I have same problem with Lumia 635 and have done for at least 2 years and looking on other sites it appears it us a common fault on most Lumia's. Microsoft are in denial about the problem. It is definitely a problem with sites loaded with data and adverts as it has never happened to me when browsing BBC sites which have no adverts. This problem needs fixing fast.
