Hello my name is Daniel from the Silicon Valley and I have been a Windows Fan for many years starting with Windows 3.11 for Work Groups then migrating to Windows 95,98,XP, Vista , 7 and now Windows 10. I am still getting used to Windows 10 Pro and my gosh its so much easier to network today than it was back in the Windows 3.11 for Workgroup Days.

Welcome @travelplus or Daniel to Windows Central! I don't even remember my first Windows OS, If I were guess then I would say XP was my first, then Vista, 7, 8.1, then 10, now I currently don't run any Windows OS on my PC.

Hey! Another Daniel! Me, too! Great name.

I remember Windows 3.11, but I also remember 1 and 2 before that. I actually passed up using Windows 1 and 2 because Desqview by Quarterdeck was SO much better and did true multitasking. And I'm not even telling how old I am by that, because I started on computers way before that. Like, mid 1970s before the PC.

Me too. I tried to avoid using Windows back then, as I could do everything I needed to do in DOS.
